Saturday, 28 January 2023, 15:00 – 16:30 GMT

Online

The APA is pleased to present a webinar: 'A deeply integrative approach to Women's Health & Hormones in Ayurveda' by Dr Claudia Welch.

While the classics of Ayurveda do not directly name hormones, they offer an elegant lens through which we can understand them. We plan to briefly outline this lens, consider three possible categories of causes of hormonal imbalance, and explore what constitutes a truly integrative approach to all causes.

The speaker is Dr Claudia Welch.

Dr Claudia Welch is the author of Balance Your Hormones, Balance Your Life: Achieving Optimal Health and Wellness Through Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and Western Science and The Four Qualities of Effective Physicians: Practical Ayurvedic Wisdom for Modern Physicians. She is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, an Ayurvedic practitioner and an international speaker. Dr Welch explores how ideas in Eastern medicine apply to women’s health and today’s reality in general.
