Practitioner Members

These are fully qualified individual clinicians and practitioners holding a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognised Indian or Sri Lankan University or a Masters or Bachelors Degree or at least 3 years full time Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine and who have completed their clinical internship requiring a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical training at a recognised Ayurvedic teaching hospital or training institute.

Therapist Members

These are qualified Ayurvedic Therapists working in the capacity as assistants to full Ayurvedic practising members, or as Ayurvedic Massage Therapist, or Ayurvedic dietitian or Wellness Counsellors or qualified Panchakarma Therapist. Therapist can work independently in areas for which they are trained or alongside and under the guidance of Ayurvedic Doctors and Practitioners.

Associate Therapists

Associate Therapists have successfully completed have successfully completed a minimum of 100 hours of face-to-face study in Ayurveda, hold qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology and practice in body therapies only or as an assistant.
