Ayurvedic clinical approach towards patients taking pharmaceutical medications

CAMAS Society at Middlesex University would like to invite you to a two day Ayurvedic Seminar on the subject of Ayurvedic clinical approach towards the patients taking pharmaceutical medications.
During this workshop we will learn how to work with patients who take the following types of medications: corticosteroids and anti-inflammatory medicines, hypoglycemic agents, medicine for hypertension, cardiac medicine, statin/aspirin (cholesterol/blood thinners), medicine for rheumatism, bronchodilators, anti-allergy drugs, antibiotics, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
This seminar will be delivered by Dr Ghanashyam Marda BAMS, MD (Ayur), PhD. Dr Marda is a renown Ayurvedic practitioner, researcher and Panchakarma expert. He specialises in heart disease, diabetes, Ayurvedic emergency medicine and panchakarma and he is also a visiting lecturer of College of Ayurveda. He is currently undertaking research on the subject of pain management at the University of Limoges in France and the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany.
During the morning session, we will cover theoretical part, during the afternoon we will discuss actual case studies of the patients.
