Saturday 22nd February 2020. 09:30 – 17:00 GMT
YMCA Indian Student Hostel. 41 Fitzroy Square, London. W1T 6AQ
Join us for a practical and informative workshop for everyone wanting to grow their Ayurvedic or Herbal Practice - it is especially useful for anyone just starting out.
The Holistic Marketing workshop will be held in Central London on 22 February 2020 at the Indian YMCA in Central London.
In this special one-day workshop we’ll go through a simple and straightforward step-by-step process in order to create a tailor-made and highly effective marketing plan for our own practices. The workshop will give us the confidence to understand what our marketing priorities should be, how to go about achieving our business objectives, what sort of promotional activities we should be concentrating on, including our social media strategy and what content we should be using for our websites. We’ll also learn how to recognise and avoid some of the very common marketing ‘errors’ that Lucy sees every day.
This is an interactive and hands-on workshop with practical exercises and time to adapt the content according to the needs of the group. At the end of the day, delegates will leave with the tools to create their own marketing ‘prescriptions’ for their businesses.
This workshop is for you if:
- you’d like to attract more patients
- despite being busy you’re still struggling to pay the bills
- you’re new to the practice
- you’re planning to expand
- you want to diversify into a new business venture
- you’re returning to practice after a break
- you’re moving to a new area
- you want to learn more about strategic marketing
More About Lucy
Prior to becoming a herbalist, Lucy was a small business consultant working for a range of clients including Business Link and DEFRA (The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) as well as numerous independent rural businesses. She gained SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) accreditation and she co-created the successful course; ‘Marketing for Profit’ which was rolled out to around 300 rural businesses throughout the South of England over a period of three years between 2003 and 2006. After attending, 80% of delegates reported significant increases in turnover and profit, having the confidence to move into new areas in their businesses and to diversify from original core activity where necessary.
Lucy has been in herbal practice since 2006 and runs a full time busy high street clinic in Castle Cary. Her main focus is on treating patients and she no longer offers business consultancy or marketing courses. This is, therefore, a special one-off opportunity to a very limited number of delegates. To ensure each participant gains the most from this workshop, spaces are limited to a maximum of 35 attendees, we strongly advise you book early to avoid disappointment.
