I qualified as an Ayurveda therapist with Vaidya Atreya Smith at the European Institute of Vedic Studies and Dr Sunil Joshi at the Vinayak Ayurveda and Panchakarma Research Foundation, Nagpur, India.

For me, Ayurveda is the culmination of my life's work, with a background of working in healthcare and the hospitality industry. I initially worked as a hospital catering manager specialising in nutrition and therapeutic diets; at St George's University Hospital, London and the John Radcliffe Oxford University Hospital. I later retrained to work in health care including working for the Alzheimer's Society and as a Macmillan Professional. I have a passion for the link between diet and health.

I offer on-line and in person consultations in Ringwood, on the Hampshire/Dorset border.

I am also the author of 'Ayurveda, How to Eat Well' published by Amazon which explains in simple terms how to use the Ayurveda system in modern life. In a consultation with an Ayurveda practitioner there is often insufficient time to go into details about the principles of Ayurveda and how to eat well, but this book fills the gap.
